The interplay of exercise and music is fascinating. The interactions between body, brain and music are complex and intertwined — the faster the tempo of songs, the more power in each step or pedal stroke which increases your step/pedal cadences.

Up-tempo music can be a motivate you to push yourself harder during a work out. Of course, it helps to play music you love listening to.
